dc.description.abstract | Lessepsian fish species have become of really high economic interest and take native commercial species' places in Gokova Bay, Turkey. This study determines the length-weight relationships of commercial indigenous and Lessepsian fishes in Gokova bay. A total of 3105 individuals comprising of five families and six species of fishes were collected using longline and trammel nets from June 2014 to May 2015. In longline, Nemipterus randalli and Pagellus erythrinus showed negative allometry, Saurida lessepsianus and Sparus aurata showed isometric growth. In trammel net, Nemipterus randalli, Pagellus erythrinus and Siganus rivulatus showed negative allometry, Saurida lessepsianus showed positive allometry, and Sardinella aurita showed isometric growth.
