Peculiarities of modern drama genre and Kazakh dramaturgy
Abstract
"Genre" has two meanings. On the one hand, it means "types that characterize real life or compositions in national literary history by traditional terms" (types of dramas: comedy, tragedy, farce, vaudeville), and, on the other hand, "it's another variant that considers certain literary work as different things". The main objective of the genre theory is the connection of genre structure of the literary theory and historical events in real life. Firstly, genre is considered in the circle of genre system of the certain period. Secondly, it's considered to have specific, solid typological peculiarities in the literary process. In the article, we consider features of drama genre as a whole, and various themes, poetic characteristics of Kazakh dramaturgy in particular.
