Abstract

The internet has created a change in the knowledge in all sectors such as trades, education, health services, etc. The Internet provides quick access to the knowledge independent of time and place, in this way it provides the ability to communicate in a virtual environment with the user group. In today's world, there are millions of websites that provide individual and corporate services in various fields. The websites are expected to be capable of responding to requests for access to information. Internet usage in the field of education is increasing day by day. For this reason, it is expected that the contents of the web pages are prepared appropriately and contain sufficient information. Design on web pages is as important as content. The aim of the study is to investigate the usability of the internet site and to develop the system within the framework as a result of the research. A website that was designed for an internship matching and assignment under the project of Anadolu University Scientific Research Project Unit which is titled “In Civil Aviation Education identification of common internship matching competencies and the suggestion of Decision Support System for internship matching”. In the first part of the study, the literature on internet usability scale is given. In the second part, Internet Site Usability Scale is examined with its dimensions and items. Finally, survey findings are used on an internet page and the required aspects in the development of "Website Usability Scale" has been identified.

İnternet, etkin bilgi iletişim aracı olarak günlük hayatta eğitimden araştırmaya, sağlıktan ticarete tüm sektörlerde hizmet anlayışında değişim yaratmıştır. İnternet’in bilgiye zaman ve mekândan bağımsız olarak hızlı erişim sunması, kullanıcı kitlesi ile sanal ortamda iletişim olanağı sağlamaktadır. Günümüzün dünyasında, çeşitli alanlarda bireysel ve kurumsal hizmetler sunan milyonlarca web sitesi bulunmaktadır. İnternet sitelerinin bilgiye erişim taleplerine cevap vermesi beklenmektedir. Bu nedenle, web sayfalarının içeriğinin uygun şekilde hazırlandığı ve yeterli bilgi içerdiği tahmin edilmektedir. Web sayfalarında tasarım, içerik kadar önemlidir. Eğitim alanında internet kullanımı her geçen gün daha da artmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Anadolu Üniversitesi Bilimsel Araştırma Proje Birimi tarafından desteklenen “Sivil Havacılık Eğitiminde Ortak Staj Eşleştirme Yeterliliklerinin Belirlenmesi ve Staj Eşleştirmeye Yönelik Karar Destek Sistemi Önerisi” projesi kapsamında staj yeri eşleştirme ve atamasına yönelik olarak tasarlanan internet sitesinin kullanılabilirliğinin araştırılması ve araştırma sonuçlarından elde edilen bulgular çerçevesinde internet sitenin geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde internet kullanılabilirlik ölçeği ile ilgili literatür bilgileri verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde internet sitesi kullanılabilirlik ölçeği boyutları ve öğeleri ile incelenmiştir. Son olarak, bir internet sayfasında anket bulguları kullanılmış ve "Web Sitesi Kullanılabilirlik Ölçeği" nin geliştirilmesindeki gerekli yönler belirlenmiştir.
