Koruma-Kentleşme Döngüsünde Zamana Bir Yolculuk: Fethiye-Göcek Özel Çevre Koruma Bölgesi Örneği

Abstract

Son yıllarda yaşanan sosyo ekonomik gelişmelerle birlikte kent hayatı daha önemli hale gelmiştir. Kentleşme hareketlerinin doğal doku üzerinde meydana getirdiği tahribat ve baskılar zaman zaman istenmeyen ve geri dönüşü mümkün olmayan sonuçlara sebep olmaktadır. Günümüzde korunan alanlarda bu durumdan nasibini almaktadır. Bu çalışmada bir koruma bölgesi olan Fethiye-Göcek Özel Çevre Koruma Bölgesi’nde yaşanan kentleşmenin etkileri eski fotoğraflar ve röportajlar üzerinden değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında temin edilen eski fotoğraflarla kentleşme hareketlerinin nasıl şekillendiği görsel olarak ortaya konmuş ve yapılan röportajlarda bu değişimlerin etkileri belirlenmiştir. Bir koruma alanı olan bölgede koruma-kullanma dengesinin sağlanması ve koruma statüsünün devamının sağlanması için yapılacak imar planları ekolojik temele dayandırılmalıdır

The A with the socio-economic developments that have happened in the recent years, urban life has become ever more important. The constraints and damage on the fabric of nature that urbanization causes sometimes brings undesirable and irreversible consequences. Even the conservation areas get their share of this today. In this study, the effects of urbanization on Fethiye-Gocek Private Environmental Conservation Area has been evaluated through old photographs and interviews. The urbanizations effects have been shown visually with photographs that have been gathered as part of the research and the effects of these changes have been identified through the interviews. To ensure a balance in the conservation of the area and continue the conservation status of the area, new zoning plans should be based on ecological foundation.
