Tibial osteomiyelit ile ilişkili septik pulmoner emboli: Olgu sunumu

Abstract

The triad of acute osteomyelitis, deep venous thrombophlebitis, and septic pulmonary embolism is a rare, but life-threatening syndrome in adolescents that requires prompt recognition and treatment. Detection of any single component of the triad should prompt a search for the other associated disorders. In this article, we present a case of pulmonary embolism as a complication of acute osteomyelitis and septic thrombophlebitis in a 22 years old male patient.

Akut osteomiyelit, derin ven tromboflebiti ve septik pulmoner emboli triadı oldukç a nadir gö rü len ancak eriş kinlerde hayat ı tehdit eden ve erken te ş his-tedavi gerektiren bir sendromdur. Bu ü ç lü triattan herhangi birinin tespit edilmesi diğ er ikisinin de akılda bulundurulmas ını ve ara ş t ır ılmas ını gerektirir. Bu yaz ım ızda 22 ya ş ındaki erkek hastada akut osteomiyelit ve tromboflebitin bir komplikasyonu olarak geliş en septik pulmoner emboli olgusunu sunduk. Osteomiyelit ve tromboflebit varlığ ında tedaviye ra ğ men hastanın durumu kö tü le ş iyorsa septik emboli tekrar dü ş ü nü lü p de ğ erlendirilmelidir.
