Abstract
Lipomas are benign, encapsulated, mesenchymal neoplasms and they are derived from mature fat cells. They are often observed on back, shoulders and abdomen. Usually settles subcutaneous and don’t infiltration to surrounding tissues. Fewer than 15% of lipomas occur in the head and neck They are often presented in the posterior cervical triangle on the placement of the head and neck. More rarely they are seen anterior neck, oral cavity, parotid gland, and infratemporal fossa. Cases of cervical lipoma reached great sizes are presented and discussed in this article. © 2015 Düzce Medical Journal.
