Hadislerde Vefâ Kavramının Anlam Sahası Üzerine Bir Çözümleme

Abstract

Faithfulness, in its most basic sense, is to act based of loyalty in all kinds of words and actions of a person. In this context, keeping one’s word, staying true to one’s word and agreement, abiding by the trust, and having the determination to perform a job completely and flawlessly are also included in the scope of faithfulness. Today, when these values are starting to deteriorate, the concept of faithfulness, which is one of the basic moral principles, should be brought to the agenda again. From this point of view, in the study, the meaning of the concept of faithfulness is emphasized within the framework of the narrations related to the subject, and the importance of establishing the phenomenon of faithfulness is pointed out in the light of the example of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). We aim is to draw attention to the phenomenon of faithfulness, which gradually loses its value in practical life, and to try to bring this important concept back to social consciousness and sensitivity from the perspective of sunnah. Accordingly, the concept of fidelity is scanned from the narration material in the main hadith sources known as al-kutub al-tisʿah, and it is tried to determine the meaning field of the related concept within the framework of the hadiths in question. The study is critical because it focuses on the concept of faithfulness and finding a meaning area through other principles and values closely related to the narration material.

Vefâ, en temel anlamıyla bir kimsenin her türlü söz ve eyleminde sadâkati esas alarak hareket etmesidir. Bu kapsamda sözünde durmak, ahdine ve akdine sadâkat göstermek, emanete riayet etmek, bir işi tam ve kusursuz yerine getirme kararlılığına sahip olmak da vefâ kapsamına girmektedir. Söz konusu değerlerin aşınmaya hatta çözülmeye başladığı günümüzde temel ahlâk prensiplerinden biri olan vefâ kavramını yeniden gündeme almak gerekmektedir. Buradan hareketle çalışmada, konuyla ilgili rivayetler çerçevesinde vefâ kavramının anlam sahası üzerinde durulmakta, Hz. Peygamber’in (s.a.v.) örnekliği ışığında vefâ olgusunun tesisinin önemine işaret edilmektedir. Amacımız pratik hayatta karşılığını yitirmekte olan vefâ olgusuna dikkat çekmek, söz konusu ahlâkî ilkeyi sünnet perspektifinden yeniden toplumsal bilinç ve farkındalığın ilgi sahasına kazandırmaya çalışmaktır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmada vefâ kavramı, Kütüb-i tisʿa olarak bilinen temel hadis kaynaklarında yer alan rivayet malzemesi içerisinden taranarak söz konusu hadisler çerçevesinde ilgili kavramın anlam sahası tespite çalışılmaktadır. Çalışma, rivayet malzemesi özelinde vefâ kavramına, yakından ilgili diğer ilke ve değerler üzerinden bir anlam alanı bulmaya odaklanması bakımından önemlidir.
