The difficulties in the teaching of Turkish as a foreign language

There are many people in Poland at present, who are interested in the Turkish language. There are professionals who are interested in Turkish culture, politics, and literature. The need to know a foreign language is a must and a fact that is inevitable. The teaching of Turkish in Poland is recognised by such institutes as the University of Warsaw, the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, and the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. Recently, private tutoring has become more and more common. This is a study of the views of Turkish language instructors who have been working in Poland for many years and, who are experienced in the teaching of Turkish. (C) 2012 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
