World population has been increasing continuously. In line with this increase, the gap between the supply and demand of food and animal products has been also widening. In the closure of this gap, aquaculture will be a vital source. Being on the west of Anatolia, Mugla has a longer coastal border than its land border. Both in terms of number and volume of the fish produced, Mugla takes the first place in our country. This study was carried out to reveal the general situation of aquaculture and its problems in Mugla province.en_US
