The approximate solution of high-order linear difference equations with variable coefficients in terms of Taylor polynomials

Abstract

This paper presents a numerical method for the approximate solution of mth-order linear difference equations with variable coefficients under the mixed conditions in terms of Taylor polynomials about any point. In addition, examples that illustrate the pertinent features of the method are presented, and the results of study are discussed. (c) 2004 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
