dc.description.abstractA more accurate prediction of the behavior of electrical machines by using CAD modules allows to machine designers to optimize the higher performance for new designs. In this paper, using computer aided design toolset design and analysis of induction motor have been done. By analyzing of 1-phase and 3-phase induction motors, magnetic flux distributions, meshing and performance characteristics have been obtained. Adding drive circuits to the analyzed motors, the performance characteristics have been examined. 1-phase and 3-phase motor performances obtained from RMxprt, EMSS and EMpulse designs have been compared.en_US
