Unutulmuş bi?r gelenek: Küfür akşami törenleri?
Özet
The ceremonies of denying evening were practices at the Easter festival of Christians by Muslims. Similar rituals were known at the Hidirellez which was made by Christians. Muslims took various kinds of precautions to protect themselves from evils at Easter, known as Christian Newroz. Among these, jumping over the fire and wearing throny plants were the most common ones. The ceremonies in Romania, Bulgaria were also practiced in some of cities such as Afyon, Eskişehir, Manisa and Muğla in Turkey. This tradition transported these practices of protecting having existed before Islam and Christianity, to the times after these religions.
