Özet
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of academics' current status at the university, expectations, organizational commitment and support to management as silence factors on the organizational silence behaviour at the Institutions of Tourism Bachelor's degree-granting. A literature review was conducted for research model and then questionnaire was developed from the studies in the literature. Data were collected from participants (201 employees) via e-mail and were analyzed with PASW statistical programs. Structural validity of the data have revealed with the explanatory factor analysis. It was tested using a correlation analysis to determine the relationship among factor groups and using a regression analysis to determine the effects of independent variables on dependent variables. As a result, 9 of 12 hypotheses have been supported.
