Abstract

Endometrioid type (EEC) endometrial carcinoma is the most common malignancy of the female genital tract in developed countries. The incidence and the death rates have been increasing in the recent decades. It is known that the prognosis of EEC greatly depends on the grade and the stage and has good prognosis when diagnosed in early stages. However in some patients the disease recur in a short time after the treatment. In these recurrent diseases the prognosis worsen and the survivals shorten. So it is important to predict the patients at the time of initial diagnosis who will have worse prognosis in order to choose the appropriate treatment; so many studies have been maintaining to detect new prognostic markers like ours.
