Evaluation Of Studies Examining The Problems Experienced In Basic: A Meta-Synthesis Study
Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the studies which examine the questions experienced in basic education by using the meta-synthesis method. Data were reached by using basic education problems, primary education problems, pre-school education problems, primary school teacher problems, pre-school teacher problems, primary school problems High Education Board National Thesis Center and https://scholar.google.com.tr/, ulakbilim.tubitak.gov.tr/ data bases. Reached studies were examined, included in, 43 articles, 18 master thesis total of 61 study researhes by considering inclusion criteria. In this study, the meta-synthesis stages developed by Walsh and Downe (2005) were followed. The generated codes and themes are presented and interpreted in frequency tables. At the end of the study, it was concluded that the problems of basic education could be addressed in four themes: system structuring problems, infrastructure and financing problems, stakeholder problems and program problems. As a result of the research, it was determined that the system and structure problems have the highest frequency and the program problems have the lowest frequency.
