dc.description.abstract | Corresponds to a rapid increase in the population of our country, forest products not show a parallel increase, the gap between production and consumption is caused by the growth of a little more each year. In Turkey, forest products as sources of raw materials used in the furniture industry and some of the mare known to be inadequate. Unfortunately, the research studies a rein adequate for closing this gap. And for this reason need to use some special requests, taking into account the location of the products are imported from abroad. A number of tree species grown in our country, some are imported from outside the entire timber needs. Which the raw materials used in the furniture industry and furniture enterprises are concentrated in order to investigate the problems encountered in obtaining raw materials, Ankara, Izmir, Istanbul, Kayseri and Bursa, produce and forest products, such as furniture in different cities from 47 survey were engaged in manufacturing. As a result of this study, the reasons for making inventories of furniture, lack of capital, the price increase or decrease, due to reasons such as the cost learned that it holds.
