Toprak Havuzlarda Deniz Balıkları Üretimi Yapan İşletmelerin Sürdürülebilirliklerinin Sağlanması Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Abstract

Ülkemizde toprak havuzlarda deniz balıkları üretimi yapan işletmeler, Muğla İli Milas İlçesinde yoğunlaşmıştır. Çoğu küçük aile işletmesi olan ve yörede tabana yayılmış bir ekonomik faaliyet yürüten bu işletmelerin yaşadıkları sorunların araştırılması ve bu sorunlara çözüm üretilmesi önemlidir. İşletmelerin sürdürülebilirlikleri, bu sorunların doğru yöntemlerle tespit edilmesine ve bu sorunlara etkin çözüm önerileri geliştirilmesine bağlıdır. Bu çalışmada, işletmelerin mevcut durumunu ortaya koymak amacıyla yüz-yüze anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Anket çalışmasıyla ortaya çıkan sorunlar neden-sonuç yöntemiyle sorun analizi testine tabi tutulmuş ve sorun ağacı şemasında kök sorunlar ile bu sorunların doğurduğu çıktı sorunlar tespit edilmiştir. İşletmelerin; pazarlama sorunlarının çözülmesi, üretim süreçlerinin iyileştirilmesi, üretim maliyetlerinin düşürülmesi ve kullanılan yeraltı suyunun azaltılması için çalışanların mesleki kapasitelerinin artırılması gerektiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Katılımcıların sürdürülebilir üretimin gerekliliği ile ilgili tutum ve farkındalıklarının yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca çalışma sonucunda, toprak havuzlarda deniz balıkları üreten bu işletmelerin sürdürülebilirliği için çözüm önerileri geliştirilmiştir.

Earthen pond aquaculture facilities producing marine fish are commonly located in Milas town of Muğla Province in our country. Investigating the problems of these financially expanded among the rural people and mostly family-owned, small-scale facilities and finding solutions to problems are important. Sustainability of these facilities is relevant to determine the problems via appropriate methods and finding efficient solution to problems. In this study, a face to face survey was conducted to determine the present status of facilities. Problems realized in the sequel of survey were tested with problem analysis according to the cause and effect relation methods and root causes and the outcome causes of these root causes were determined on problem tree diagram. The need for increasing professional capability of personnel was emerged in order to resolve the marketing problems, improving the fish producing process, decreasing the production costs and decreasing the ground water usage. The attitudes and awareness of participants towards the need for sustainable production were on high levels. Also at the end of this study, solution suggestions were offered for the sustainability of these earthen pond facilities producing marine fish.
