Tatar Halk Destanlarında Hediye Çeşitleri

Abstract

Karşı dairelerin bir birlerine hediye sunma geleneği en eski çağlardan beri dostluğun bir simgesi olmuştur. Tatar halk destanlarının en eski örneklerinden olan Alplar hakkındaki destanlarda kürk, at, av kuşu, kılıç, beylik gibi hediyelere rastlıyoruz. At ve kürk, göçebe zihniyetinde ön planda olan değerlerdir. Hediye olarak bir bahadıra at ve kürkün yanında kılıç, savaş giysileri, beylik ve köleler verilmesi de Türklerin hayat tarzı ile ilgilidir. Kıpçak Türklerinde at ve kürk gibi hediyeler verme geleneğinin kalıntıları olarak devlet düzeyinde düzenlenen bir bayram veya yıldönümü sırasında devletin başında duranlar birbirlerine en büyük saygı göstergesi olarak bugün de at ve kürk hediye ederler.

The tradition of presenting gifts by opposite flates to each other has been a symbol of friendship from the oldest ages on. In the epics on the Alps ,the oldest sample of the Tatar folk epics,the fur,the horse,the game bird,the sword and the beylik (region ruled over by a ruler) are seen as a gift.The horse and the fur are primary values in the nomadic mentality.That a brave is gifted a sword,war clothes,beylik and slaves in addition to a horse and a fur is also related to the Turkic life style. Even today, during the celebration of any Bairam or Anniversary held at the State level , in the Kipchak Turks, high state officials gift a horse or a fur reciprocally as the traces of the oldest ways of the gifting tradition as a sign of highest respect.
