Y Kuşağının İstihdam Beklentileri Üzerine Bir İnceleme: Fethiye Ali Sıtkı Mefharet Koçman Meslek Yüksekokulu Örneği

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı Y kuşağının istihdam beklentilerinin belirlenmesidir. Çalışmada, Fethiye Ali Sıtkı Mefharet Koçman(A.S.M.K.)Meslek Yüksekokulu’nda eğitim gören 539 öğrenciye bir anket çalışması yapılarak gelecekte kendilerini meslekleriyle ilgili işte çalışıyor olarak görüp görmedikleri sorulmuştur. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, kız öğrencilerin, ikinci sınıfta okuyanların, alanı dışında çalışmayı planlayanların, alternatifi olmadığı için okuduğu bölümü tercih edenlerin gelecekle ilgili beklentileri düşüktür. Ayrıca not ortalaması 2’nin üzerinde olanların ve sektörde kendi alanında çalışmayı planlayanların gelecekle ilgili beklentileri yüksektir.

The aim of the study is to determine the employment prospects of the Y generation. In study, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 539 students in Fethiye Ali Sıtkı Mefharet Koçman (A.S.M.K.) Vocational School and they were asked whether they could see themselves in a place related to their profession in the future. According to the results of the analysis, the expectation of the future of the girl students, who read in the second grade, who plan to work outside of the field, and who prefer to read their part because haven’t got another alternative are low. In addition to this, who have a grade average over 2 and who plan to work in their field in the sector have high expectations about the future.
