Arap Ülkelerinden Gelen Turistlerin Etkilerine Yönelik Yerel Halkın Algısı: Sapanca Örneği

Abstract

Türkiye’ye yönelik uluslararası turizm hareketleri incelendiğinde, Arap ülkelerinden gelen turist sayısının giderek arttığı görülmektedir. Türkiye, sahip olduğu eşsiz doğal güzellikler ile birlikte tarihi, coğrafi ve kültürel yakınlığı, dizi ve filmlerin etkileri, sosyal medya gibi daha birçok nedenle Arap turistlerin gözde ziyaret yerlerinden biri haline gelmiştir. Arap turistler, ülkemizde özellikle sıcak yaz dönemlerinde yeşil ve suyun buluştuğu serin ve sakin yerleri olarak yoğun bir şekilde tercih etmektedirler. Sapanca yöresi başta sahip olduğu gölü ile Arap turistler için başlı başına bir çekim yeridir. Sapanca yaz aylarında birçok Arap turisti ağırlamakla birlikte her geçen gün yöreyi ziyaret eden turist sayısı artmaktadır. Hatta bu turistlerin kalıcı bir hale gelmesi emlak satışlarını da başlatmıştır. Sapanca’ da görülen Arap turizmi ekonomik, sosyo-kültürel, çevresel birçok değişimi de beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın amacı, Sapanca’da yaşayan halkın Arap ülkelerinden gelen turistlerin yöreye etkilerini nasıl değerlendirdiklerini belirleyebilmektir. Yapılan araştırma sonucunda, Arap turistlerin ziyaretlerinin yerel halk tarafından olumlu karşılanmadığı, Sapanca halkına yarardan çok zarar verdiği düşüncesine sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir

When examining international tourism movements towards Turkey, there is an increase in the number of tourists from Arab countries. Turkey, with its unique natural beauty with its historical, geographical and cultural proximity, and the impact of the series and films, has become one of the favorite places to visit more Arab tourists as the influence of social media. Arab tourists prefer the cool and calm places of our country, particularly in the hot summer months, where green and water meets. The Sapanca region is a major attraction for Arab tourists with the lake that it has in the first place. Sapanca has attracted many Arab tourists in the summer months, and the number of tourists visiting the region is increasing day by day. The fact that these tourists become permanent has also started estate sales. The Arab tourism seen in Sapanca brought with it many changes in economic, socio-cultural and environmental. The aim of working in this direction is to be able to determine how the people living in Sapanca evaluated the tourists' influences from the Arab countries on the locality. As a result of the research, it has been found that the visits of Arab tourists are not favored by the local people, and they think that they are harmful to the people of Sapanca.
