Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretimi: Öğretmenim "İyi Ki Var"
Abstract
Bu çalışmada Bilim, Teknoloji ve Toplum öğrenme alanına ait ,İyi ki var' ünitesinden ,teknolojik ürünlerin hayatımızda ve çevremizde yaptığı değişiklikleri dikkate alarak geçmişle bugünü karşılaştırır' kazanımından yola çıkılarak öğrencilerin teknolojiye bakış açıları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu, Samsun ilinin Atakum ilçesinde Adnan Kahveci ilkokulunda okuyan 4. sınıf öğrencilerinden 75'i oluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilere 2 hafta boyunca Sosyal bilgiler dersinde ,İyi ki var' ünitesi programa uygun olarak işlenmiştir. Dersin sonunda öğrencilerden veriler ,İyi ki var<.; çünkü<<..yararlıdır/kolaylık sağlar' cümlesini tamamlamaları yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın yöntemi nitel araştırma desenlerinden fenomenoloji (olgubilim) deseni kullanılmıştır (Yıldırım ve Şimşek, 2012).Bu çalışma sonucunda, öğrencilerin vermiş oldukları cevaplar doğrultusunda içerik 10 tema altında yapılandırılmıştır. Öğrencilerin teknolojik ürünleri fiziksel ihtiyaçları için önemli olan teknolojik ürünlere öncelik verdikleri ve diğer bütün teknolojik ürünlere karşı zaafları olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. In this study, we tried to determine the students' viewpoint of technology science, through the achievement of ,compare the present with the past' by taking into consideration the technological products leading to change in our life and environment from the unit of ,Fortunately there is' belonging to learning field of Technology and Society. The study group is formed by 75 elementary school students at the 4th grade of Adnan Kahveci Primary School in Atakum district of Samsun. The unit of ,Fortunately there is" was processed in Social Sciences classes in accordance with the program for 2 weeks. At the end of the course the data of ,Fortunately there is'...... ; because < .. is useful / beneficial " were obtained from the students through the completion of the sentence. As a result of the study, the content was gathered under ten themes in accordance with the answers the students gave. We concluded that the students gave priority to the technologic products important for their physical needs, and they feel weakness to the other technological products.
